About Me
I’m one of those people who never knew what I wanted to do, who couldn’t settle to just one occupation. So what drives me is not what I’m doing, but the values behind it. I’m a throw away the recipe, follow where the web takes me, get lost in the country or the city, spend hours talking to strangers kind of person. I don’t like to be boxed. I’m a searcher. So when I do settle on something, it’s with real commitment and passion.
At the moment I live in Coventry in the UK, working part time for the charity Grapevine Coventry and Warwickshire as a community connector for adults with a learning disability and running a women's group for vulnerable women.
My work in the community enriches my life, teaches me about people and myself and is crucial for my writing.
As a Cov Kid I am thrilled we have been named UK City of Culture 2021 and I hope to be part of that through two projects I am planning. One primarily poetic, one primarily arty.
